As usual, the past 12 months have been littered with changes. New baby, new land, new projects and now, one really old home. We don’t just work in the real estate industry, we live it. We’ve tried sitting on the sidelines cheering everyone else on, but we just can’t help ourselves. We’re infatuated with the process, hence selling our fresh farmhouse and uprooting ourselves once again. I’d like to say we will become a bit more predictable, but the odds aren’t good.
So while we are in the midst of some really exciting new construction projects (more to share in the coming months), we accepted the challenge to renovate and move into a 104 year old home in Fort Worth's Fairmount neighborhood. Although this is new territory for us, we have found the renovation process to be exciting. Discovering covered up windows, original pine floors and hidden brick work is a reminder that beneath the filth is a beautiful space that is waiting for new life.
