The countdown to baby #2 is getting real. Pregnancy with a toddler (and a small business, which often feels like another child) means there are zero hours in the day to daydream about the new baby’s nursery, much less he/she's arrival into the world. Since laying eyes on this picture, I’ve been intrigued with kilim rugs in the bathroom. I like the earthy feel it brings to this otherwise glitzy space.
Unfortunately, our previous 5 month stint (here), didn't prove long enough to begin layering the master bathroom. However, I have every intention of jumping on this trend with the next house. Even more so after reading this Apartment Therapy post!

My obsession with all things turquoise led me to take this picture. I love the color variation and the veining. I want to wear it around my neck, prop it on a bookshelf and use it as a serving tray all at once.
Since my moment of inspiration, I've been determined to find a way for this to translate into a home. Then I discovered this photo...done.
